Patient case
In one day, you will take a live patient case through the complete digital workflow — scan the patient, design the custom abutment and crown, prepare the case in CAM, mill it, then finish and deliver it. Every stage is in your hands.
You leave with the restoration you made, an AADD Level I certificate, and a full implementation kit, plus thirty days of support for your first cases back in the practice.

AADD LEVEL I · NOVEMBER 13, 2026
Each doctor works through the digital workflow from scanning and design to milling, finishing, and delivery. Individual scan and design stations and small milling groups support hands-on learning.
01
You design and mill both — integrating the complete restorative and implant workflow in a single course.
02
An individual scanning and design station per doctor, with milling run in small supervised groups of three to four.
03
Real anatomy, real tissue, real margins — the case you scan in the morning is the one you deliver.
CERTIFICATE
A formal Academy certificate documenting training in digital scanning, CAD design, CAM, chairside milling, custom abutments, and same-day restorations.
TOOLKIT
Scanning protocols, crown and implant scan-body checklists, CAD and CAM workflow guides, finishing and maintenance sheets, a coding guide, and an ROI calculator.
SUPPORT
A private group channel with the instructors, plus two scheduled group calls at day 10 and day 30 to work through your first cases back in the practice.

8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
01
Core scanning theory, accuracy, and scan pathways — plus a practical review of the major intraoral scanners and where each one fits.
02
Capture a live patient case: crown preparation and implant scan body, with soft-tissue management and margin control.
03
Navigate the design environment and learn how AI-assisted proposals accelerate your workflow without taking control away from you.
04
Design the abutment and crown for your own scanned case — emergence profile, margins, contacts, and occlusion.
12:00–1:00 PM
1:00 – 5:00 PM
05
Take your design into CAM and prepare the case: nesting, sprue placement, tool paths, and milling strategy.
06
In small groups at the machine: blocks and pre-milled titanium blanks, wet versus dry milling, tool changes, calibration, and maintenance.
07
Take the restoration from blank to seated: characterization, glaze, polish, try-in, adjustment, and cementation or screw retention.
08
How to code and get paid for same-day restorations, and the real numbers on lab savings, chair time, and return on investment.
LEVEL I
Scan, design, CAM, mill, finish, and deliver a single-unit crown and custom abutment.
NEXT LEVEL
The course outline identifies Level II as the next stage. Dates and registration are not yet listed.
